This year, on the industrial docks in Ashtabula, construction will begin on a $454 Million facility being developed by Petmin USA. The facility will use the most advanced technologies and best-in-class environmental processes to manufacture high grade pig iron – an ore material used in the steel-making process by companies in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. Petmin USA looks forward to creating a product these companies will no longer have to import. The plant will open in 2022. The project is expected to be a powerful engine for the Ashtabula area, stimulating economic growth, creating hundreds of jobs and generating millions of dollars in spending and tax revenues annually for the community.
Petmin USA is committed to continue working in collaboration with the community to ensure the delivery of a world-class facility.
