Strong Community Partnerships

Petmin USA is very grateful for the strong support we have received from city and county officials, the State of Ohio, the Growth Partnership of Ashtabula County, labor unions, the Port Authority and many others.

Among those who have made this project financially possible are the Ohio Development Services Agency, Port Authority and the City of Ashtabula.

Petmin is committed to hiring local workers. Petmin USA will be supported throughout the hiring process, which will begin formally during the construction phase. For the construction phase of the project, a project labor agreement was entered into with the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council (CBCTC), the umbrella organization for more than 29 local unions working in the construction industry in the region.

"Petmin USA is very eager and enthusiastic to continue working side-by-side with our various partners to make sure this project excels and positively impacts Ashtabula and its residents. We are proud to be part of a project that we believe will be an economic engine and development catalyst for the Ashtabula region for many years to come."
